GST Returns Help from GST Practitioner

If you are facing problems in key GST implementation areas like GST filing and are unable to get information online or using the GST helpline number, you can opt to engage the services of an authorized GST practitioner.

Functions that a GST practitioner can perform on behalf of GST registered individuals/businesses include:

  • Providing details of inwards/outwards supplies
  • Filing monthly/quarterly/annual/final return
  • Making deposits into the electronic cash ledger
  • Filing refund claims on the GST Portal
  • Filing applications related to amending/canceling GST registration

The list of GST Practitioners working in your area can be accessed using the Locate GST Practitioner tool available on the official GST Portal.

Keep in mind that the government has not specified any charges for any activity that a GST practitioner is allowed to perform on behalf of his customers. As a result, they are free to charge as per their own estimates which may include different charges for different GST-related activities.
